There’s no waiting for months and months for websites to rank, this can be instant, usually within 24-48 hours and you can start delivering phone calls right away. You see, generating phone calls have been around for some time but over the last few years it has finally broken through the digital marketing world as pay per call advertising and it is gaining more popularity thanks to Google! It is still at its infancy so that means that there are lots of room for growth and opportunity in this industry. Pay per call is exactly what it sounds like, you essentially get paid for the qualified phone calls that you can generate as the advertiser or marketer. To keep it simple and short, you connect customers that are in need of a service to the businesses providing that service through a simple phone call and you get paid for it. You’re simply the middle man with the brains that make it all work. Like I said earlier, it is another form of lead generation but more valuable than the traditional lead emails, contact forms, text messages, or the old school csv lead sheet that you use to make manual cold call calls. Trust me, we’ve had experience with all of the online lead generation tactics and nothing can compare to the power of pay per call. This is so valuable to businesses because it eliminates all of the time wasted searching for new customers. Instead, customers are the ones searching and calling the service provider. These are the best ways to start, to learn and practice the skill. Once you get your feet wet and get comfortable with it, sky is the limit! There is no limit when you possess a valuable skill that can help any business, it is what you do with that skill!
What is pay per call affiliate network?
Pay per call affiliate network, also referred to as affiliate marketing is probably the most popular way to get started with pay per call. Essentially you work under an affiliate network company and they are the ones that pay you a commission to generate the calls for their clients or large buyers. They have a list of niches / verticals for you to choose from. Your responsibilities are to simply pick your niche, drive the phone calls and you get paid for it!
Where can you find pay per call affiliate networks?
You can find a whole bunch of pay per call affiliate networks with a simple Google search. However, my go to website is Offervault.com – This website is golden for affiliate marketing. They have a full list of the best pay per call niches, the payouts for those niches along with all the different types networks for you to choose from. This is great because you get to compare the best payouts for each niche and pick the best affiliate networks to work with. Once you find one company that you want to work with, all you have to do is sign up and wait for the approval. The next challenge here is getting approved by the affiliate network. Why is it a challenge? Well, if you are completely new to pay per call, chances of you getting approved are slim since you have no experience. However, there is always a way around that, you can always get in contact with the affiliate manager of the network you want to work with and speak to them with honesty. Tell them that you are learning pay per call and you would like to work with them to drive some calls to their offers. You can always reach out to affiliate managers with a phone call or send them an email explaining what you are looking to do. You can try that with multiple affiliate networks and see if any of them approve you.

I feel that working with local clients gives you more control with your business, your income and you have the capability to be able to build it to how you want. What are the best pay per call niches is probably the most popular concern that everyone thinks about. Everyone wants to know the best pay per call niche and the golden niche that will make them tons of money. The truth is, that through probably crossed your mind a few times while reading this article. In this section of he article I will go over the best pay per call niches along with a guideline on how to select the proper niche and make them profitable.
So before we get into that, I want you to think of the purpose of pay per call. The goal is to generate phone calls right? So with that said, think about services that will make people want to pick up the phone and call. Why would a person call a services provider instead of filling out a website form or doing an initial online research? The answer is simple, because they need urgent help and it’s an emergency. They would rather speak to a person right away rather than go search around the internet. Let’s start there, I hope that makes sense. In order to understand the best pay per call niches, think of services that have high urgency and emergency. Here are to name a few that came to mind right away.

Now those are some of the best pay per call niches to get into but you can also break it down even more with a few key factors with simple research. This is important to make a solid and educated decision based on data. I like to break it down by search volume and also like to learn if the niche has seasonal trends. I use Google Keyword Planner to find the root keyword search volume and if there are any seasonal trends with the root keyword. To give you a quick understanding, search volume determines how many times it’s being searched in Google every month and the search trends show a pattern of the searches if they increase or decrease throughout the year from January to December. As you can see in the image above, I did a quick search for the Pest Control niche. I searched the root keyword in Google Keyword Planner and based on the graph and search data that Google returned, this tells us the two important factors that we’re looking for, the Search Volume and the Seasonal Trends. As you can see right away for the Pest Control niche, it shows that July is the peak month and that month gets a little over 1.1 Million Mobile searches for that month. It is important to pay attention to the mobile searches with pay per call. Why? Because that is how you drive phone calls. Additionally, Pest Control also shows that it gradually slows down in search volume in the months from November through February and it starts to pick back up in March.
What can we learn from that? The first thing that we can understand is the search volume, it shows that 1.1 million mobile searches for the month of July is great for that niche. That number tells us that there is a lot of opportunity with that kind of search volume. It also reveals the slow months based of the pattern on the search from November through February. That reveals to me that there is a seasonal trend for Pest Control and the chances might be better on the months that the search volume is high or gradually going up. It’s also good to compare the difference of search volume with the peak month of the season and the slow month of the season. This gives you a better insight if you are entering this niche in peak season or slow season.
There’s a lot more you can learn from this data to help you make a solid and educated decision. There’s a lot that you can learn about a pay per call niche when you do your initial research through the Google Keyword Planner. The data can reveal a lot, you just have to play around with it as well as clicking around to learn more. You can also discover other terms that people are searching for within that niche and from there you can break it down to learn more about your niche by discovering new keywords. You can use pretty much all of the digital marketing channels (SEO, Website Traffic, Paid Ads, Social Media, Business Listings and etc…) You can generate phone calls with all of those channels but I want focus on one avenue that I like to use and I find it very powerful! This is the Google Call-Only Ads! Yes, some of you might have heard this way to run ads on Google with the specific goal of generating phone calls. This is perfect for pay per call because these ads are designed for driving in phone calls! Below is a a perfect example of a Google Call-Only Ad in the search results.
To explain how it works, these ads follow the same principles of the standard Google Ads. The difference is these ads have the phone icon along with the phone number at the top of the ad instead of the standard headline text. The main difference with call-only ads and standard text ads is when a person clicks on the ad, instead of them being taken to a website or landing page, the phone number pops up on the screen and prompts the person to proceed with the phone call, just like in the image below. Pretty cool right? These ads are focused for mobile devices and it’s the best way to drive phone calls in any pay per call niche.
What is a pay per call tracking software?
Aside from Google Call-Only Ads, it is also highly important to have a call tracking software that tracks the calls and call recordings. Why is this important? It is highly recommended that you track your calls and also listen to the recordings. The call recordings reveal a lot more about your pay per call niche, you can listen to the quality of the call and the intent behind the calls. This is important to learn more about the call-only ads you are running by listening to the calls and the length of the call duration. How to get started with pay per call?
To get started, you just have to do it! Speaking from my personal experience, I started with affiliate just to learn and gain experience on how it all worked. I just needed to practice to learn how to generate calls and earn my experience. I’m a hands on type of person so I had to put it to practice in order to completely understand. Once I learned how to generate calls, I started to make money within 3 days! That’s when I became very excited and fully believed that this worked! I also learned different strategies along the way from playing around and getting obsessed. When I felt very comfortable with it, that’s when I went right into clients and doubled my income. So to break it down, my mind frame going into pay per call was to learn and practice with affiliate. In my mind, this was an opportunity to make money while learning. Paid learning was the motivation behind why I started with affiliate first. It just so happens that I started to make money right away and I took that momentum right into clients. I’ve created my own workflow that makes it very easy for me. However, if you are new to it, it can be challenging at first. Like anything else that has a significant value to learn, it is difficult at first but gets easy as you do it more and more. It gets easier in time, especially if you just follow the step by step training. The beginning is all about understanding and learning the proper methods to make it work. However, if you don’t have the right systems to follow, it can get very discouraging especially when you make mistakes. Yes, be prepared to make mistakes because that’s part of learning. What matters is how you process those mistakes and setbacks. It also depends on how much you want to learn it, if you want to learn it bad enough and see the value in it then you shouldn’t have a problem breaking through the setbacks and learning curve within pay per call. Here is a simple mind trick that I use to help me learn any new skill no matter how difficult it is. It might sound crazy but it works for me so I’ll share it with you. I always tell myself that it is easy or it’s going to be easy no matter how difficult it is. I will tell myself it is easy until it becomes easy. What I’ve found out is that things do get very easy after doing it for a while over time. In other words, it’s the repetition of doing it that makes it easy.
